Every person in your life is here to teach you something
Intuition development contributes a fascinating key to the development of consciousness. Especially when it comes to relationships - those wonderful, zany, crazy aspects of life that make us laugh and make us cry. Who is pushing your buttons today? Ever notice how some days you seem to have more/less buttons than you did the day before? Who's idea of a good time was it to have so many of those darn buttons anyway?!
In my desire to be a conscious parent, I more often than not, have the privilege of my children pointing out their differences of opinion. In that moment, I have the opportunity to react or respond. Some days I do really well, and others.... well let's just say that the wonderful advice of Krishnamurti "to observe with judgment" comes in real handy.
I've had some opportunities recently to reach deep into heartache and come out the other side understanding what a blessing and insight I can receive in regards to relationships and pushed buttons. In accepting what is and letting go of resistance comes a huge shift in understanding and allowing. The less resistance, the more flow, with more flow comes increased understanding and the ability to work with new information. Intuition development is a process that requires time, discernment and integration. Our relationships are our most powerful opportunities to grow.
As we approach spring and Easter, we have the opportunity to reflect and revise our attitudes towards ourselves and each other (and our buttons)! Intuition development is one of the critical tools that allows us to transform those buttons into greater awareness - response rather than reaction.
