Intuition - Gateway into the new
NewsletterNew life, new leaves, new flowers, new grass… Spring is such a stunning gateway into the rest of the year with Spring Equinox and spring break in March, and the celebration of life and renewal in early April with Easter. Extremely powerful times to set some quiet time aside for reflection and intention work in March are:
| Sat., March 3 | Full moon |
| Sun., March 4 | Total lunar eclipse from 14:44 to 15:57 PT |
| Sun., March 18 | New moon Partial solar eclipse from 16:38 to 20:25 PT |
We are into month 3 of 12… the first quarter of the year fast approaching… bringing the sacredness of who we are into the every day has never been so important. Spring cleaning both our outer and inner homes brings the opportunity to dust off any detours, delays and distractions that may have collected on top of our hopes, dreams and intuitions so far this year.
The ABC’s of Intuition
Take a few moments to consider the following (printing this newsletter to record your answers is an excellent way of setting your intention for March):
- Accept
I accept my intuition – I accept my inner wisdom – I accept my inner power.
Deep down inside, I already know what to do.
I set this quiet time aside to allow that knowing to come forward in fuller detail.
I accept I have everything I need to act on this intuitive information.
As I discern, trust and act, all that I need is drawn to me easily and effortlessly.
I accept that as an extension of Source energy, the One Mind, I am working with infinite knowing, grace and power.
There is no more delay or postponement to my deeper knowing… I accept it all now.
The time of powerlessness and self-doubt is over… out with the old and in with the new…I take this few minutes to “spring clean” the inner chamber of my heart. - Breathe
I breathe the deep cleansing breath of forgiveness and compassion.
I breathe away the cobwebs of confusion and busy-ness.
I breathe away the clamor of the mind. I take the gift of awareness and release any pressures to be completed. All that is truly important is completing, in ways that are whole and healing.
I breathe away the messiness of unresolved emotion… I release resistance and embrace peace. I bring healing to relationships and ways of looking at things. - Connect
I connect to the heart.
I attune to its wisdom.
I embrace the excitement of what I want to bring into my life – the peace and joy and sense of fulfillment and achievement.
I see myself feeling so whole, so full, so complete.
Anything less than peace melts away and I breath in, the strength of love.
In connecting to the heart, my Higher Self… the authenticity of what’s real, I breathe in the joy of knowing and living my life’s purpose.
My heart replaces the illusion of the big things, with the importance of the “little” things that mean so much.
My heart keeps me connected to my intuition, passion and joy.
Amidst the challenges of the day, my heart is my touchstone… it keeps me grounded and centered.
An interview with the future
Having set the tone with the ABC’s of intuition…Accept, breath and connect to your heart (your intuition), you have the ability to deliberately develop and set your intuition intention for March:
- My biggest intuitive achievements last month were:
- It is important to celebrate these intuitive wins and I will do so by...
- The biggest awareness from last month to keep in mind is....
- If I assigned intuitive responses to describe what I intuit next month to bring, they would be:
A feeling:
A flavor:
A colour:
A song:
A sound:
A touch:
A sense:
An affirmation:
A hope:
A dream:
A miracle:
A rest:
A celebration: - One of my biggest challenges right now is:
I realize that:
I can move forward with:
I release:
I embrace:
I am glad that:
I know that:
Intuition in leads us back to wonder, magic and awe
As you review your intuitive answers to the questions above, are these responses metaphorical, imaginative or physical? How will you “ground” them into your March experience? What will take you from the knowing to the doing (from intuition to action)?
For example: the flavor my intuition picks for March is “bubble-gum,” which can be both physical and metaphorical (bubblegum is FUN)! The sound of March for me is the sound of chimes that remind me of the secrets of universe that cross time and space, yet are accessible to me at the same time. I will honour both the flavor and sound of March by: including the tangible, physical elements of bubble gum and chimes, but also by the FEELING they invoke as I use them…fun, laughter, innocence, carefree playing, mystery, magic, awe, deep knowing and knowledge, staying in the present moment, etc., “while” I accomplish my day to day tasks.
Answering these questions is quick, easy and fun…the answers are “no brainers,” yet the gifts of insight they offer are huge….these are literally gold nuggets of wisdom that our inner intuitive process awaits to reveal more of.
Intuition is FUN - Win by Sharing!
Share your experience of how you incorporated some of these strategies and insights into your March experience and email to: cheryl@theinuitivelife.com – once a month I will draw from these emails to award a free mini phone consultation! Your story will be posted on my website (initials only). We all win when we hear and celebrate each others successes. Here’s to a March filled with the wonder, magic, beauty and awe of Spring!
Last month’s Winner!
Judy from Maple Ridge shared her story from last month’s newsletter in regards to symbols and defining your personal intuition symbol. Here’s her story:
About a year ago I was given a native drum. I am not native or that familiar with native culture but I know it is a tremendous honour. I was told that the drum was a gift from the spirit world and that I was to know I was on the right path. The women who gave it to me had created an image on the front of it. The image made little sense to me and for some time now I have been trying to figure out where this symbol fits in my life. I have read your web site and when I came to the part where it talks about symbols that connect us with our intuition I felt like someone had shaken me. This symbol of a triangle with a flower in the middle is my symbol to connect with my intuitive self. Thank you. J.W., Maple Ridge, BC
